During CreateWorld 2008 the Podcast Team (Allan Carrington, Kate Foy, Cat Hope, Ian Green) cruised the conference, audio recorders in hand, looking to grab both presenters and audience members for conversations about key issues.
The aim of these short interviews was not just to summarise or rehash the presentations, but rather to talk around them a bit, to see them in their broader context, and to tease out their implications for learning, teaching, research and creative performance in higher education.
We hope you enjoy these podcast episodes. But please don’t just listen. Make sure you also add your ideas and comments to this blog. Connect with your colleagues. Be part of the conference wisdom.
And if you have ideas, comments, critiques etc. about this sort of podcasting, or you would like to be part of our investigative and developmental team, please contact us at:

This is a great addition to and extension of the whole conference experience. It allows people who attended, and those who didn’t, a chance to catch up on the CreateWorld08 conference sessions’ information and personal experiences of presenters and attendees.
Very well done! I hope more conferences take advantage of the benefits of using modern (Apple) technologies!!
